Given the volume of mail the parish receives, and his workload, I completely sympathise: I am sure he would have signed had he got to it in time, but as he runs two parishes many miles apart, the post is understandably low on his list of priorities. He delegates a lot, but something like that is clearly not going to be signed by anyone else on his behalf.Ben Trovatohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15299230935468606845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30490922.post-59356037250029884872013-01-13T21:09:21.284+00:002013-01-13T21:09:21.284+00:00I received no such letter but I'd have been ha...I received no such letter but I'd have been happy to add my name to the signatories.Patrick Sheridanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995907911415177074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30490922.post-40602470434031682292013-01-13T15:24:19.783+00:002013-01-13T15:24:19.783+00:00That's amazing, the postage alone must have co...That's amazing, the postage alone must have cost a few thousand pounds.

But we are hearing a lot of priests saying they never had the letter. All we had to do was sign it and place it in the stamped addressed envelope. Pretty easy really. I don't know why three quarters of our priests were not able to sign it. As you say, full marks to the organisers.
Fr RedmanFr Adminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01982296306999590969noreply@blogger.com
