However, it seems to me that conformity is essentially a lack of moral courage and is a result of a failure of true faith. Therefore the following comments apply also to conformity.

A question that arises about the relative ease of the undermining of the faith through "nondirective" therapy is why these priests and nuns were so easily persuaded to accept ideas that substantially contradicted their Catholic faith. Did the psychologists and group leaders possess powers of mind control? The answer is no. I believe the participants in these sessions had already absorbed these ideas from the secular culture and consequently had already lost their faith. All they needed to acknowledge and fully implement their inner change of heart was a person of authority to tell them that what they inwardly desired was the correct way to proceed.

This is the explanation of the entire effect of Vatican II. Prior to Vatican II many or most of the upper hierarchy, priests, nuns, and lay people had already come under the influence of secular society liberalism/modernism. Vatican II and the subsequent abuses were the result of this change in perspective, not the cause. The major ideas of current secular Western society have their basis in a belief in the primacy of the individual or the self. These ideas are incompatible with traditional Catholic belief.

The cause of Vatican II is very similar to the cause of the Protestant "Reformation". A large part of European society had already accepted the Western values of individualism and distaste for authority. Therefore the Gospel according to Luther was readily accepted since it "Westernized" Catholic Christianity by emphasizing the individual. Traditional Catholic Christianity has many of the characteristics and is compatible with Eastern (Mid-East, Asian) culture but is incompatible with European(Western) culture, especially with the increasing emphasis on Western science.

Some 450 years later the Catholic church succumbed to the allure of Western culture with Vatican II and implemented many of the same changes as the “Reformation”, especially in respect of the liturgy, i.e. Prostentantized the New Mass.

As described by Bella Dodd in Congressional testimony in the early 1950's, the Catholic Church was infiltrated by 1100 Communist agents that entered seminaries beginning in the early 1930's. Thus the current state of the Catholic Church is a combination of the takeover of the highest levels of the Church by agents dedicated to its destruction, coupled with the loss of faith of a large part of the upper hierarchy due to their acceptance of Western secular values..

The only solution to the current crisis is to purge all the liberal/modernist hierarchy, declare all changes since Vatican II null and void, reeducate the remaining Catholic faithful on the errors of liberal/modernist ideas, and reeducate them on the true traditional faith. However given the current control of the Catholic Church by Globalist/New World Order adherents and the loss of faith of much of the hierarchy, religious, and faithful, it is not clear where the reformers are to come from or how they are to gain control.
