FSSP Tutorial DVD launch

On Thursday 5th February 2009:

Presentation of the EWTN-FSSP DVD tutorial on the Extraordinary Mass, by the priests from the FSSP in England:

7pm: Brompton Oratory, St Wilfrid’s Hall, London: presentation by Fr de Malleray, FSSP, followed with projection of extracts of the DVD (interview by Cardinal Castrillon Hoyos, spiritual explanation by Fr Calvin Goodwin, FSSP).


Refreshment afterwards.

Copies of the DVD will be available for purchase at the special launching price of £12.

6pm: Low Mass by Fr Armand de Malleray, FSSP, Little Oratory

This 2-DVD disc set has been produced by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter in collaboration with the EWTN Global Television Network to teach priests how to say Low Mass in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite. The video includes an introduction by Darío Cardinal Castrillón Hoyos, President of the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei. A comprehensive step-by-step explanation and walk-through of the entire ceremony of Low Mass. A real-time demonstration of the Mass filmed from four simultaneous camera angles. Instruction in the basic principles of gesture and movement as well as all the variable elements commonly encountered when offering Mass. A talk on the fundamental principles of the Extraordinary Form by Fr. Calvin Goodwin, FSSP, and a spiritual commentary on the liturgy. English and Spanish audio tracks included. Over three hours of footage on two DVDs!

Technical requirements: This DVD is offered only in NTSC format. It will work on every computer (laptop or PC) equipped with DVD player, whether in the US or in Europe or anywhere else. However, it will not work in DVD players (i.e. not computers) that use a PAL format, unless they offer PAL-compatibility.
