Support Papa Stronsay!

This remote traditional community includes a young man from Oxford (in the pictures: the last of the three novices, and below, the one on the left), and we have been watching the process of their reconciliation with Rome with great joy. They need our support! Please say a prayer for them and take out a subscription to their newspaper, The Catholic, formerly distributed through SSPX chapels.

The SSPX don't want to be friends with them any more, so we must show them the best possible welcome!

See Cornell Society and their own blog (where the picture comes from).

Dear sirs,

My name is Christina Kochanowski, and I am a Catholic from the US. I would like very much if the comment about the Society of St. Pius X not wanting to be friends with those at Papa Stronsay be removed. Of course the Society works hard to "restore all things in Christ," just as all true friends of the Cross and true friends of the ever ancient, ever new, Holy Faith strive to do. The Society of St. Pius X holds firm to Catholic Tradition and does not allow for compromise or novelties, such as presented by those who have succumbed to the Modernist heresy. As such, there is only room for charity. It is no charity to pretend that there is not a crisis in the Church, and it is no charity to not take a stand at this point and to fight modernism, which seems to have Our Holy Mother Church bound in shackles at present. By the Society taking a stand, the Holy Father, thankfully, has freed the Mass. Without the firm stand taken by Archbishop Lefebvre, I fear that the Mass would not be available as it is now. The Society hierarchy and those who support it only hope for a restoration within the Church and for all Christians to be in the one flock, one fold...and we wait for the Pope to consecrate Fatima with all the bishops of the world so that the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph, as She promised that it will in the end! God bless you.

I'm asking for charity towards the Papa Stronsay community because the SSPX has failed in charity. Charity here is my motivation.
