Progress north of the Border

From Una Voce Scotland:

On behalf of the Society it gives me great pleasure to announce a new Mass location in the Archdiocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh with gracious thanks to His Eminence Cardinal O’Brien, St Andrew’s University Catholic Chaplin Fr Andrew Kingham, and sterling work done by Mr Mark Hamid and members of the Canmore Society.

A Missa Cantata will be offered every second Sunday of the month at St Margaret's Chapel in Canmore (the University Chapel) in St Andrews at 5pm beginning next Sunday 13th March, the First Sunday of Lent.

The address is: Canmore, 24 The Scores, St Andrews, Fife, KY16 9AL

A map showing the approximate location is available HERE

Please support this wonderful initiative by the Catholic students of St Andrews by attending the Mass and spreading the word.

This now makes five locations where Sunday Mass is regularly offered in the Extraordinary Form within the Archdiocese, until recently all by Fr Emerson FSSP. North Berwick’s monthly Mass is now to be offered by the parish priest Very Reverend Mgr. Stephen Robson, Chancellor of the Archdiocese.

I am so jealous of the East of the country. There seem to be more masses there every few months. Try getting even an occasional one on Paisley Diocese!
Some of us have been for three years!
