Chant workshop in Spanish Place

I've spent the last couple of days attending a Chant workshop in London, led by Dom Yves-Marie Lelièvre, Choirmaster at the Abbaye Saint-Pierre de Solesmes, France. For those not familiar with the Chant scene, Solesmes has been the fountainhead of the scholarship and practice of the chant revival since the late 19th Century. Today they are engaged in producing new editions of chant for the Benedictine Office, and Dom Lelièvre was able to pass on to us a flavour of the interpretation of chant now favoured there, based directly on close attention to manuscripts going back more than a thousand years.

It was a tremendous event, and a great opportunity to meet other singers. I've written more about it here.
