LMS Residential Latin Course 2025: photo

Last month the Latin Mass Society's annual Residential Latin Course took place, at the Carmelite Retreat Centre at Boar's Hill near Oxford.

We had a record number of students, though the course is still small -- 25 students. The venue wes full, and four students stayed off site. We had four priests, four Benedictine novices and a female religious. We had three Latin tutors, so we could divide up the students into beginners, intermediate, and advanced.

 

There was Low Mass every day, and Compline in the evening. It was an intensive Latin Course with some of the character of a retreat.
