Our National Chaplain, Fr Andrew Southwell of St Bede's, Clapham Park, turned 50 last month, and at about the same time he announced that he's taking a sabbatical: two years in Rome studying at the Angelicum. His South London flock organised a big party for him, which would have been incomplete without a cake. And a bit of rain.
