Inaugural Mass for the FSSP in Warringon

It gives me great pleasure to announce:

Inauguration of the ministry of the Priestly Fraternity of St Peter in the Liverpool Archdiocese:

On Saturday 21st November 2015 at 12 noon,

On the Feast of the Presentation of Our Lady,
Polyphonic Solemn High Mass 
in the presence of the Most Reverend Malcolm Patrick McMahon OP, Archbishop of Liverpool,

at St Mary’s Priory Church, Buttermarket Street, Warrington WA1 2NS.

Access: Warrington is conveniently located at the intersection of the M6, M62 and M56 (overflow car parks by adjacent supermarkets). It is under 2h from London Euston by direct train: the 9:30AM service will take you there by 11:14AM. Warrington is 17 miles from Manchester Airport. All welcome. Choir dress for clergy. Refreshments will follow.

    I may be wrong, but I don't think that picture is St. Mary's Warrington, which I think is whiter on the inside and slightly more Victorian.

  3. Dear Joseph Charles is quite right that is not a picture of St Marys Warrington which is actually much nicer and has a far more dramatic Altar. Go on the Wikipedia site for St Marys Warrington and there are some nice photos to download.

    What is however more important than the picture is the fact of this exciting new start for the Church. Having both ICKSP and FSSP in the 3 North West Diocese is remarkable when you think that it was only March 2012 that ICKSP opened the first Church at New Brighton 3 years 6 months on there are now 3 hopefully other Diocese will soon follow suit now that the North, (as usual) has led the way.
