More photos of Chartres
Since I wasn't there myself I have to rely on other's photos. Here is a nice one, from 'Official Photo Album' of Notre Dame de Chretianite, of one of the British chapters, led by James Bogle and [a priest with a surprising resemblance to] Fr Anton Guziel of the Birmingham Oratory.

Admittedly I was in a state of total exhaustion and near hallucination by this point of the walk, but still, I can't believe that the priest I thought was an American priest of the FSSP was in fact Fr Guziel! Surely not!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Glad someone is paying attention. No I'm sure Fr Guziel was tucked up in Birmingham. It looks a little like him, though, doesn't it?

ReplyDeleteI can't remember his name, but he heard my confession on Pentecost Sunday and was exceptionally helpful in his advice.
